Wolverines Boys Soccer fell 5-2 at Connellsville in a hard-fought match. Connellsville scored the first goal of the game, but was answered with a goal by Sophomore Osee Diafouka. Connellsville notched two more goals to take a 3-1 lead into halftime. After falling behind 4-1 in the second half, the Wolverines attempted a comeback on the strength of Osee Diafouka’s second goal of the night, but this would prove to be too little too late as Connellsville scored an insurance goal that set the final score at 5-2.

The next Wolverines match is Monday vs Shaler Area at the WHHS Soccer Field (Varsity 3:30pm / JV 5pm). WPIAL Playoff pairings, game times, and locations are expected to be announced in the coming week.
