Boys Varsity Basketball · Wolverine Basketball Preseason #3 in WPIAL Class 5A

The Woodland Hills boys basketball team was given a #3 ranking n WPIAL Class 5A by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.  In addition,  senior Keandre Bowles was named one of five players to watch in Class 5A.

The Post-Gazette said:

3. Woodland Hills (20-5) — Keep an eye on 6-3 senior guard Keandre Bowles. He averaged 17 points per game playing alongside Post-Gazette Fabulous 5 pick Amante Britt last season. Britt graduated, so more of the scoring load will fall on the shoulders of Bowles. With fellow seniors Tre’mon Josey, Gavin Judson and Jay Smith, the Wolverines aren’t short on talented guards. In the low post, the Wolverines are expecting big things from 6-6 junior forward Josh Rawlings.
