Hill Finishes 10th in Pennsylvania

Johnna Hill finished 10th at the PA State High School Bowling Championships on Friday.  Johnna averaged just over 190 for 6 games during the qualifying rounds, including a high game of 234 to earn the highest finish for any Lady Wolverine at States in the 22-year history of the program. Congratulations Johnna!

Burleigh Named 1st Team All-Section

Congratulations to Lady Wolverine sophomore Joi Burleigh who was awarded first team All-WPIAL 5A Section 2.  Congratulations Joi!

WHHS Grad Sanders Student-Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Woodland Hills alumnus and Penn State running back Miles Sanders on being named student-athlete of the week for the Penn State University football team.  Congratulations Miles,  you are a great role model for all the Wolverines to follow!

Hill Qualifies For The PSBA State Singles Tournament

At Friday’s High School Bowling Girls’ Singles Regional Championship, Johnna Hill finished 10th in the qualifying rounds, then defeated three girls from other schools to advance to the quarterfinals. In a close match, Johnna lost to Rachel Lundy of Norwin High School 202-192. The efforts earned Johnna a birth in the  PSBA state singles tournament


Congratulations to senior Benito Countouris on qualifying for the 2018 PIAA Swimming Championships next week at Bucknell University.  Benito qualified in the 100-meter butterfly with a personal-best qualifying time of 51.68 seconds. Good luck Benito!  

PIAA Boys Basketball Information

Attention Boys’ Varsity Basketball Fans! The boys’ varsity basketball team has advanced to the PIAA Championships First Round and will play State College on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. The game will be played at Bald Eagle Area High School (751 S. Eagle Valley Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823). This is a PIAA event.

Johnna Hills is WPIBL Champion

At the 2018 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Bowling League  Girls’ Singles Championship, Woodland Hills sophomore Johnna Hill bowled games of 244, 245, and 200 to earn the #1 seed and advance the championship finals. She then defeated two opponents by scores of 220-199 and 246-179 to earn the WPIBL Girls’ Singles Championship, the first ever for a
